McIntosh TradeUP Program

McIntosh TradeUP Program
In acknowledgment of McIntosh's enduring reliability and excellent value preservation, we're offering a unique opportunity. You can now exchange select McIntosh two-channel products, even those dating back to the 1960s, and claim up to 75%* of the original MSRP as credit for the acquisition of new two-channel units.
Are you looking to upgrade your power capacity? Or perhaps you're interested in modern digital music features? Maybe you're simply seeking a fresh addition to your setup but are uncertain about how to handle your existing McIntosh items? Our TradeUP Program provides a convenient solution, enabling you to transition to the latest two-channel models at substantial savings, while eliminating the trouble of disposing of your current products.
All you need to do is trade in your eligible McIntosh monoblock or stereo amplifier, preamplifier, integrated amplifier, or receiver. In return, you receive up to 75%* of the original MSRP as credit, which can be used towards purchasing a new, eligible monoblock or stereo amplifier, preamplifier, integrated amplifier, or receiver. Note, monoblock amplifiers must be traded and bought as pairs. Source components, multi-channel and home theater products do not qualify for this program.

How It Works

Trade in units must be in reasonable physical condition, must work and must not have been modified or altered from their original design. The trade in and TradeUP units must be of like product types, meaning amplifiers must be traded for amplifiers, preamplifiers for preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers for integrated amplifiers, and receivers for receivers, with the following exceptions:
  • An integrated amplifier may be traded in for a new integrated amplifier or receiver, or for a component set that includes both a preamplifier and a power amplifier.
  • A receiver may be traded in for a new receiver or integrated amplifier, or for a component set that includes both a preamplifier and a power amplifier.
  • A component set that includes both a preamplifier and power amplifier may be traded in for a new component set that includes both a preamplifier and a power amplifier, or for an integrated amplifier or for a receiver.
  • The MSRP of the new TradeUP unit must be equal to or greater than the sum of both the trade in unit's original MSRP and its trade in value. Customer is responsible for the difference between the MSRP of the new TradeUP unit and the value of the trade in unit.
