Question: Do I need a new TV to watch HDTV programming?

Answer: No. There will be set-top boxes available which will convert the new HDTV broadcast for your TV. However, the full resolution of an HDTV broadcast will not be viewable without a new HDTV ready television.

Answer: Currently, Roger's cable, and both the Star Choice and Bell Expressvu satellite systems offer some HDTV programming. As well, the American satellite systems, such as DirecTV, offer HDTV channels.
